mioty alliance and FábricaDigital Join Forces to Accelerate Digital Transformation in Mexico

March 23, 2023

We are proud to announce a strategic collaboration with FábricaDigital, a collaborative platform supporting over 500 Mexican companies in their pursuit of digital transformation. The partnership was initiated by our member Fraunhofer IIS during a meeting with Manuel Sandoval Rios, Knoware Coordinator of FábricaDigital in Mexico City. The project is funded by Google and coordinated by the Ministry of Economy of Mexico.

The collaboration between the mioty alliance and FábricaDigital aims to establish a mioty hub in Mexico, fostering the development of next-generation Low-Power Wide-Area Network (LPWAN) technology across the country’s strategic sectors. This partnership will create innovative networks, products, services, and applications. During the business trip, representatives from Fraunhofer IIS, LZE, and LORIOT attended C-level meetings with Google Mexico, Honeywell, Continental, Safran Group, Universidad Panamericana, and Universidad Técnologica de Queretaro.

These meetings offered our members the opportunity to showcase the emerging 915 MHz product portfolio from partners such as IFM, Lansen, Ragsol, Sentinum, Weptech, and Wittra. We extend our gratitude to all for their outstanding commitment! The hardware and software solutions provided by our partners form the foundation for upcoming projects in Industrial IoT, Smart Cities, and Smart Buildings in Mexico, as well as other countries throughout Latin America and the United States.

In collaboration with national chambers and industrial clusters, we are already planning the implementation of innovative solutions for end customers based on the mioty technology.

We would like to express our special thanks to Manuel Sandoval Rios for his warm welcome and support. We eagerly anticipate a long-term and fruitful relationship with FábricaDigital as we work together to advance Mexico’s digital landscape.
