#TheFutureIsOrange: General Assembly & mioty Alliance conference
December 5, 2022
On December 1st, our General Assembly and mioty Alliance conference took place. Live and in color (especially in orange!) we met with our members and guests at the Information Security Hub at Munich Airport.
Annual General Assembly
According to the mioty Alliance e.V. statutes we are obliged to hold a general assembly every year. Beside reports from our board, advisory board and committees, the election of a new mioty board has been on the agenda. The new elected board members for the following two years are:
- Alexander Kahlig, ifm electronic gmbh (Chairman)
- David Rahusen, STACKFORCE GmbH (2nd Chairman)
- Wolfgang Esch, WEPTECH (Treasurer)
- Lena Yoshihara-Lisch, Diehl Metering GmbH
- Pascal Jaggi, SWISSPHONE
- Svein Vetti, Texas Instruments Inc.
- Uwe Scherf, WIKA Alexander Wiegand SE & Co. KG
Congratulations to all elected candidates!
Mioty Alliance conference
In addition, we held a mioty Alliance conference in the afternoon, to which external guests were also invited. The IoT Business Hub was represented by numerous members as well as Heinz Arnold, deputy editor-in-chief of “Markt & Technik”. Our members prepared presentations and booths to show how they integrate mioty into their product portfolio and how they solve problems of their customers. While networking, our members and guests had time to exchange ideas about mioty and beyond. A panel discussion completed the event. We ended the evening in a relaxed atmosphere over dinner at the Bayerische Staatsbrauerei Weihenstephan, the oldest brewery in the world.
We had a great time at Munich Airport, which wouldn’t be possible without our members who are part of our strong alliance. Thank you for the interesting presentations, exhibition booths, discussions and conversations!
Special thanks to Uwe Scherf for moderating the entire event and interviewing our members, Heinz Arnold for moderating our panel discussion, the members of the IoT Business Hub for giving us valuable impulses for collaboration, and the team from the Information Security Hub for hosting our event and putting it in the right perspective. The future is orange!
Many thanks also to our internal taskforce around Martina Ost who organized the event and made sure everything went smoothly.
