The eruption of an underwater volcano near the island kingdom of Tonga in the Pacific ocean created a worldwide pressure wave. The resulting air pressure fluctuation was measurable even here in Europe especially in Germany.  A large-scale mioty network with sensors is deployed in these different countries. Many of the pressure sensors of our mioty network registered this wave on January 15, 2022, around 8:30 pm.
