We are launching the End Customer Working Group, a round table for exchange and shared best practice. Within this group we will meet every 6th week virtually and will discuss topics on an adhoc basis. It is built for end customers who design and run solutions based on mioty.

This group is for you if you build at the application level, combine hardware and systems from different manufacturers, and often represent your own end customers. The idea is a practical and technical, peer to peer setting where members work on real questions together instead of each on their own.

What you get out of it as a member:

• Direct peer to peer exchange and knowledge sharing with other end customers
• A place to raise current blocking points and identify common pain points
• Joint work on mioty reference architectures and solution blueprints
• Input into the mioty tender process
• Case study exchange and shared marketing visibility
• Stay updated about recent activities in the Technical Committees
• Firsthand information from other Alliance members on new solutions

Membership support

Beyond this group, two further activities are currently underway in the mioty Alliance that show what your membership supports:

• EU consultation process: The mioty Alliance is taking part in the current EU consultation and will submit recommendations to the EU Parliament, this week. The submission will be public, so we can share it with you as well. It includes recommendations for harmonized legislation, smart water metering recommendations, and reduced requirements for operation of LPWAN networks.
• Whitepaper “How to operate a mioty network”: This taskforce has now started. We are collecting technical and legal knowledge on operating mioty networks and consolidating it into a whitepaper, internal to mioty Alliance members, to help you plan and run your networks.
