The Stadtwerke Pirna provides water, district heating, electricity and gas to the city of Pirna (population 40,000) and its region in Saxony, Germany. Looking to futureproof its network and capitalize on smart city opportunities, the multi-utility partnered with mioty Alliance member Diehl Metering. The collaboration has resulted in an AMI network with upgraded water and heat meters, as well as a fully-planned and implemented IoT network with optimal interoperability and reliability thanks to mioty technology.
