On May 15, 2025, the mioty community came together in the heart of Nürnberg for an inspiring day of technology, innovation, and collaboration. The mioty Global Summit 2025 brought more than 200 participants from across industries and regions to KORN’S Nürnberg – and the result was an unforgettable event full of knowledge sharing, networking, and future-focused discussions.
Opening with a vision: Smart City Nürnberg and beyond
The day began with a video message from Joachim Herrmann, Bavarian State Minister of the Interior, followed by warm greetings from Thomas Pirner, MdL, and a visionary keynote from Dr. Christof Bosbach, Chairman of the mioty alliance Advisory Board.
Dr. Andrea Heilmaier from the City of Nürnberg then officially opened the Smart City session, underlining Nürnberg’s strong commitment to using technologies like mioty to build a more connected, sustainable, and resilient city.
